Montoro is a city and municipality in the Cordoba Province of southern Spain, in the north central part of Andalucía, 45k from the centre of Cordoba, An area of natural beauty. Montoro, declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1969, is located east of the province of Cordoba, in a place where the sierra, the river, and the farmlands meet.

The mountains belong to Sierra de Cardeña and Montoro Natural Park, and are home to holm oaks, wild olives, umbrella and maritime pines, and a collection of Pyrenees oaks, rare in Andalusia. It is also an area of great importance in terms of wildlife, hunting and cattle farming.

The views from the property are beautiful, a perfect base if you want to ramble in the cooler weather, bird watch all year round or simply sit by the pool and relax.

Cordoba is the perfect base if it’s your intention to travel around Spain, the fast train service to all major cities is highly recommended and economical. 

You will find all you need in Montoro 9km away, you will need a car to stay with us, and car parking is free in the centre of Momtoro. You will find several well stocked supermarkets with an abundance of fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. The shops represent typical Andalusian style goods with very friendly and eager to please staff. Several cafes and restaurants in the centre offer typical Spanish rustic food with staff eager to try out there English, German and French.
